It may not bother you as much in the summer, but the colder it gets, the drier the air inside. After all, heating reduces humidity. A climate in which viruses thrive. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Viruses like to have low humidity. Relatively low humidity makes virus particles smaller, making them easier to transfer and allowing them to penetrate deeper into the lungs. The ideal humidity to prevent this is between 40 and 60 percent. But dry eyes, dry skin and lips, an irritated nose, a dry cough, headaches, and static electricity can also indicate insufficient humidity. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

How can you measure humidity? <\/span><\/b><\/h6>

There are quite a few meters commercially available that measure humidity or, of course, you can leave it to a specialist. That way, you’ll find out if you need to additionally humidify your home. In addition to humidity, the amount of CO2 is also essential for a healthy indoor environment. By the way, know that for a few euros you can also get humidity sensors in the trade. <\/span><\/p>

Get better humidity <\/span><\/b><\/h6>

Quickly increase the humidity in your home? There are some tricks to this, though. Put a humidifier in the house, a bowl of water on the heater and\/or shower with the door open. Hang your wet laundry outside and hang a wet cloth over your radiator. Plants can also help improve humidity in the home. A humidity level between 40 and 60 percent is perfect. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
